Our little home on the interwebs chronicling our
journey to a simpler life.

SIMPLE LIFE DEFINED

There is a Finnish proverb that says, "Onnellisuus on se paikka puuttuvaisuuden ja yltäkylläisyyden välillä," which means "Happiness is a place between too little and too much".

What this looks like for us:

• Expanding our knowledge of cooking from scratch and canning.
• Working towards growing our own produce.
• Learning to prepare foods we purchase according to "the traditional methods"

Here is our little book of culinary creations! It's currently a very small recipe book but will grow as we go. We hope you enjoy!

We are a family of three; me, Stephanie, my husband, Kevin and our daughter, Mackenzie. We also have a gaggle of fur and feather babies that live with is in our cozy little house in a small, quiet town in the big, beautiful Northwoods of Upper Michigan.
